Product Testing in Virtual Context
The Project
An architecture and design studio developing furniture products alongside their modular housing systems. The challenge: test product designs like an A-shaped foldable chair in realistic settings before manufacturing, and create marketing materials from the same digital environment.
The Approach
NOR3D built a digital gallery specifically for the client's product line. The A-shaped chair and other furniture pieces were placed in curated settings that showed scale, functionality, and aesthetic intent. Not isolated product shots on white backgrounds, but products in architectural context.
From this environment, NOR3D delivered both design validation tools and marketing assets: cinematic video showing the chair in use, and a complete image set for sales materials. One digital space serving dual functions: internal design review and external marketing production.
The Result
Product designs validated visually before manufacturing investment. Marketing materials ready simultaneously, no separate photoshoot needed. When architects design products, they think spatially. Testing furniture in virtual architectural settings reveals what flat product renders cannot. Design confidence and marketing assets from a single production effort.
